Professor at EM Strasbourg, he teaches Economic Policy and Banking Economics and directs the LaRGE laboratory in finance.
A specialist in economics and finance, his research topics are banking economics, corporate finance, Islamic finance, the economic impact of institutions with a particular interest in emerging countries. He has published over 90 articles in international academic journals.
He is a regular Visiting Researcher at the Bank of Finland and a Visiting Professor at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, Charles University in Prague and MGIMO University in Moscow.
