Marie-Josée Avenier is honorary CNRS senior researcher. She graduated from Normale Sup Fontenay-aux-Roses and holds a PhD in applied mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley and a PhD in Economics from Aix-Marseille University.
Her two main research interests are strategic management of organizations in complexity and research methodology in different epistemological frameworks.
Among the six books and twenty articles she has published in ranked academic journals, several texts focus on developing knowledge that is both academically recognized and relevant to management practice, drawing on the experience of managers.
