DBA Tuition Fees

Details of the fees for the Executive DBA in Business Administration at the Business Science Institute

The application fee (€150) must be paid at the same time as your application is sent.

It includes a personal interview with a Professor from the Business Science Institute and follow-up of your application by a member of the support team.

The application fee is not refundable.

Face to face Executive DBA programme € 27,500 including:

  • Enrolment at AMBA-accredited Business Science Institute (Certificate of Research in Business Administration & Executive DBA)
  • Enrolment at iaelyon School of Management – Université Jean Moulin (DBA)

For the entire four years of the programme: seminars, personalised supervision by professors, the online pedagogical kit (software, access to databases, books etc.), support for documentary research.

Online Executive DBA programme (English, French, German or Spanish) 27,500€ including:

  • Enrolment at AMBA-accredited Business Science Institute (Certificate of Research in Business Administration & Executive DBA)
  • Enrolment at iaelyon School of Management – Université Jean Moulin (DBA)

For the entire four years of the programme: seminars, personalised supervision by professors, the online pedagogical kit (software, access to databases, books etc.), support for documentary research.

Payment Schedule

The payment schedule is as follows for the face-to-face Executive DBA programme and the Online Executive DBA programme taught in French, English or German:

  • first instalment of € 15,000 – 1 month before the start of the programme
  • second instalment of € 12,500 – 12 months after the start of the programme

Please note that these fees may be increased at certain cohort locations based on additional local costs, local taxes, etc.

Re-registration fees for an additional year (after the 4 years stipulated in the contract) will be subject to an amendment and will be charged at € 2,000 (2021 rates).

The enrolment fees include:

  • Face-to-face group seminars or online courses,
  • Individualised supervision by professors for online courses,
  • Individualised thesis supervision by an experienced senior professor,
  • Advice and support during seminars by a visiting professor,
  • Access to the Business Science Institute virtual learning environment,
  • Each student’s personal pedagogical kit, including: software, books, access to databases.

The enrolment fees do not include:

  • Catering (breaks and meals) during the face-to-face seminars,
  • Transportation costs to seminar venues,
  • Accommodation during the seminars,
  • Proofreading or copy-editing by specialised external service providers,
  • The eventual costs of publication of the thesis.

Online Payment

This part is reserved for doctoral students wishing to pay their registration fees by bank transfer or by credit card:
