A graduate of the Oran School of Military Administration (ESAM), Mahamadou Zakari holds two Masters in Accounting and Business Management and Accounting, Control and Auditing. He is currently Head of the Internal Control and Audit Division at the Niger Ministry of Defense.
In September 2024, he defended his Executive Doctorate of Business Administration (EDBA), on the topic “Are the WAEMU directives aimed at improving the accounting and financial management of the State of Niger being applied?” under the supervision of Professor Alain Burlaud, Cnam/Intec, France and Professor Geneviève Causse, Université Paris Est – Créteil and ESCP Business School.
