Gérard Hirigoyen, Honorary President of the University of Montesquieu-Bordeaux IV, is Professor of IAE Bordeaux where he directs the university satellite of management sciences (PUSG).
Familial businesses and governance constitute the central topics of his research.
He has published over 40 research articles in various academic journals, as well as a dozen books, including Création de valeur et gouvernance de l’entreprise, Economica, 1997, 3rd edition, 2005, 2nd printing in 2009 (with J. Caby) 4e edition in 2013 (withJ. Caby and C. Prat dit Hauret).
