Alain Burlaud is an emeritus professor at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, where he held the chair of “Accounting and Management Control” and served as director of INTEC. During his career, he held several institutional positions, notably: President of the French Accounting Association, President of the “Management Sciences” section of the National Council of Universities, and President of the International Federation of Scholarly Associations of Management.
He has published numerous academic articles and books, including recently Accounting: The Empire of Numbers, which received the Best Management Book Award in 2023 from FNEGE
