Céline Barrédy is an Associate Professor of Management Sciences at the University of Paris Nanterre. She holds a PhD in Management Sciences from the University of Bordeaux and an Habilitation to Supervise Research from the University of Lille. Her speciality is in the field of finance and corporate governance applied to family businesses.
Her research work focuses on three areas: (1) the capital financing of family businesses, both through private equity and IPOs; (2) the positive and negative externalities produced by the interactions between family members and external actors on the boards of family businesses; (3) the influence of the legal doctrine of family law and company law on the balance between financial and emotional value in family businesses
Her work is part of an international perspective and collaborations.
