Suzanne M. Apitsa is Senior Lecturer – HDR (French qualification for Ph.D. supervision) at the
University of Clermont Auvergne. She is a permanent member of the CleRMa Laboratory (UR 3849). She is a faculty member of the Business Science Institute – Executive DBA Luxembourg.
Her research and publications focus on several areas: intercultural management and diversity management, international HRM, CSR, strategy, business networks, innovation and development.
She advises some French SMEs in their development in Africa. She is an active member of the scientific associations Atlas-AFMI and Afrique Atlantique.
Her teaching, in several higher education institutions in France and abroad, is directly related to her research areas.
In June 2018, she was awarded the prize for the best teaching case in international management (CCMP – Atlas AFMI Prize).
Her latest book co-edited with Éric Milliot, Doing Business in Africa: From Economic Growth to Societal Development, is published by Palgrave Macmillan.
