Andre Witte is the Head of Group Security at Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA. He has approximately 23 years of experience in the fields of corporate security, general management, safety engineering, security/visitor management, close/event protection, governance & risk, operational threat/incident management and operational & physical black-market investigation. Before his time at BVB, Andre Witte completed his close protection training in Israel and worked in corporate security at Commerzbank AG as a specialist in physical security. Following this, he held positions as a Security Manager at TARGOBANK in Düsseldorf. He is currently an honorary board member of the Alliance for Security in the Economy (ASW West).
In September 2024, he defended his Executive Doctorate of Business Administration (EDBA) on the topic of “Perspective of operational determinants of risk perception for leadership development in professional football organisations” under the supervision of Professor Alain Burlaud, Professor at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, Paris.
