Specialist in banking control since 2008, Al-Hafiz Mahamat begans his career in a commercial bank and was hired in 2014 by the Central Bank (BEAC) as head of studies. He is seconded to inspection at the Banking Commission where he serves as deputy head of mission. He conducts general audit, thematic missions, etc.
In september 2024, he defended his Executive Doctorate of Business Administration (EDBA) on the theme « Banking risk management by a central bank : proposal for a financial rating system » under the direction of Professor Karima BOUAISS, Professor at the University of Lille in France.
