Professor at iaelyon School of Business, Jean-Moulin University, she is Director of the International Institute for Francophonie (2IF) at the Jean-Moulin University of Lyon, Co-Holder of the Senghor Chair of La Francophonie in Lyon, and Editor-in-Chief of the International Review of Francophonies.
She teaches in the fields of qualitative research methods, CSR and corporate strategy. Since 2008, her research has focused on corporate social responsibility and the management of BoP strategies.
Professor Payaud has developed a survey methodology, a model and proposals tested in the field during research-interventions or missions in companies. She is the author of numerous articles and books, most recently « Bargaining with the Devil? In Society and Business Review, with C. Hussler, « The Contribution of CSR to the UN SDGs ». Framework of analysis and proposals for the public authorities of the least developed countries », in the Revue Française de Gestion, with A.C. Martinet and in 2018, the « 100 sheets to understanding corporate strategy », at Bréal, in its 7th edition, co-written with J.-L. Magakian.
