Affiliate Professor at Iéseg School of Management, Lille, France, he received his PhD in Information Systems from the joint PhD program between Paris Dauphine University and Georgia State University. His main areas of research are entrepreneurship, new information technologies, organizational culture and the Grounded Theory methodology. He has published in European Journal of Information Systems, Information Systems & Management, ACM SIGMIS Database: The DATABASE for Advances in Information Systems, Grounded Theory Review and Journal of Management, Spirituality & Religion. He also received the Magid Igbaria Outstanding Conference Paper of the Year Award for “What Should I Understand? The concept of Shift of Understanding, a Quote-Based Analysis”, 2012 ACM SIGMIS Computer Personal Research conference, ACM Press, Milwaukee, WI. He has regularly published his work in the AOM, CIHI and SIGMIS conferences. Finally, in addition to his academic work, he continues his entrepreneurial activities.
