Daniel Bogdan Grubeanu, born on January 10, 1971 in Bucharest / Romania, was promoted to Doctor med. dent. (PhD) by the Institute for Periodontics of the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe-University Frankfurt.
Since 1998 he has run a well-known private dental practice in Trier together with his wife Dr. Birgit Grubeanu-Block.
From 2000 to 2002, he attended the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Aachen, headed by Prof. Dr. Dr. Riediger. In 2002, Grubeanu became certified in implantology and, in 2004, in oral surgery by the State Dental Chamber of Rhineland-Palatinate.
In 2008 he became the head of the Clinic for Oral Surgery and Implantology at the Hospital "Barmherzige Brüder" in Trier, Department of Maxillofacial Surgery of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
In 2010, Grubeanu became a certified lecturer in implant dentistry, in the “Implantology” curriculum of the German Society for Implantology (DGI).
In 2011, he was a guest professor at the University of Szeged, Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral Surgery, headed by Professor Dr. Katalin Nagy; in 2012 he was assistant professor at the University of Applied Sciences Fresenius, Faculty of Health; and since 2014 he has been a professor at the Fachhochschule Fresenius, Faculty of Health.
Daniel Grubeanu is a co-founder of the “DTMD University for Digital Technologies in Medicine and Dentistry”, Luxembourg, where he is responsible for the overall quality management, among others.
