Anne Janand is Associate Professor and a qualified HDR research supervisor in Management at the University of Paris-Sud. She also graduated from HEC in 1997. Anne teaches Human Resource Management, Management and Corporate Strategy.
Her research explores the area of Human Resource Management, with a particular focus on contemporary careers and internal staff mobility within major organisations. Her work draws on 13 years of previous business experience at a major French bank and builds upon frameworks that are both revisited and interdisciplinary.
In 2018, she submitted a piece of work for HDR certification called, ‘Mobilities, careers and directions: towards a disruptive model?’. She has written more than 20 articles in a variety of academic journals, carrying out research on careers in relation to other concepts, including: motivation, learning, diversity, talents, leadership, and so on. Her PhD thesis in 2013 was about the development of talents through internal mobility, and was awarded the FNEGEAGRH Didier Retour prize for the best thesis as well as the ANDESE prize for the best thesis. Anne Janand is the General Secretary of SFM (French Society for Management) and board member of SPSG (Philosophical Society for Management).
