PEYPOCH Nicolas

Nicolas Peypoch is a university professor at the IAE of the University of Perpignan. He is director of the tourism management department and head of the Resources and Territories research axis of the CRESEM laboratory. His research focuses on the economics of tourism and the performance and competitiveness of destinations.

He is president of the AFMAT (Association Francophone de Management du Tourisme) and is a member of the editorial board of the scientific journals European Journal of Tourism Research, Journal of Travel Research and Tourism Economics. He also co-founded the QATEM (Quantitative Approaches in Tourism Economics and Management) workshop in 2008.

He is the author of several articles and books on tourism economics and management, including La Recherche en Management du Tourisme (Vuibert, 2019) co-edited with C. Clergeau.
