Emeritus Professor of Management Sciences, Jean Moscarola is a former student of HEC Paris and a Doctor of Applied Economics. He has pursued his academic career at the University of Paris Dauphine, the University of Grenoble and then at the University Savoie Mont Blanc. He is also the founder of Sphinx Développement, a software publisher for data analysis, which he led for 25 years. As both a researcher and an entrepreneur, he has extensive experience in the fields of marketing, of human resources, and of information and communication systems. He specialized in methodological questions and has contributed to the evolution of research methods in the social sciences: textual data analysis and mixed qualitative / quantitative approaches. In addition to his work with the Sphinx software, he has written and contributed to several books. He is the author of numerous articles and directs or contributes to research in several countries. He has been in charge of the Business Science Institute DBA methodology seminars since the institute’s creation, and he works with doctoral students in the context of the Business Science Institute LAB, which he runs.
